A little extra

A better way.

As cute as the Bed, Bath & Beyond cards are...this wedding is about Courtney and Jorge. So, in order to inform but not detract we made matching cards to let everyone know where they can find,

.....just a few of their favorite things.

These cards were made wallet sized and sent along with the 6 x 7 1/2 invitations.

Printed at Costco.

Final Draft

After a lot of work and only a little sleep (on my part anyway) I was able to show to Courtney and Jorge that even with ALL of the parents the invitations would still showcase mainly them. Everyone was happy and we have beautiful invitations to send.

I hope you like them.

The invitations are printed at Costco and are 6 x 7 1/2 inches in size.

What a beauty!

The beginning

I've always wanted to do stuff like this....I recently bought a really crappy version of Photoshop and couldn't figure out how to use it. So I went to my friend Sean Hebein to teach me how to work it. (this is when I realized just what a waste of money I had) So I had to get set up with the real deal in Photoshop and voila! Everything is sooo much easier! I can do so much and I LOVE IT! So, I thought I'd start blogging about my endeavors. This is what I want to go to school for, I know there's not a lot of work out there for it but hey, its what I want to do. (I had a dream last night about opening up my own shop and having my Grammy design greeting cards and paper prints that I could sell there...i'm a dork)

So, here are some of my beautiful creations! Some are just mocks...but I am REALLY making my sisters wedding invitations so you'll have to vote on your favorites.

Pictures up soon!!!!
